iMicros Data Policy

iMicros ("Application") is the specialized interface for iMicros Industrial Hardware ("We" or "Us"). This application is a professional tool designed for machine technicians and engineers to visualize telemetry, perform response testing, and analyze operational cycles on industrial equipment.

1. Telemetry & Hardware Data

Local Network & WiFi Communication

The app requires "Local Network" permission to establish a direct, secure link with iMicros hardware.

• Hardlink Connection: Connects to device IP 192.168.52.1 via WiFi.
• Real-time Streams: Pulls live sensor data (Voltage, Pressure, RPM) for visualization.
• Firmware Management: Checks and updates device firmware versions locally.

Note: This traffic is strictly internal (LAN). No telemetry data is routed through the internet during live monitoring.

Location Services (Geo-Zones)

Location permission ("When In Use") is used for specific operational features:

• Geo-Zone Mapping: To define operational boundaries (sites) for automated machine logging.
• WiFi Discovery: Android/iOS policies require location permission to scan for the 'iMicros' hardware SSID.

We do not track your location in the background or sell movement data.

• Map Providers: Google Maps / OpenStreetMap SDKs are used solely for the "Geo-Zone Management" feature to render map tiles.
• No Analytics SDKs: We have removed all marketing and behavioral tracking analytics to ensure industrial privacy compliance.

This tool is intended for professional use. Users are responsible for ensuring that machine testing is conducted in safe, authorized environments according to workplace safety regulations.
